Our starting point and main goal was to understand how to define and determine similarity between molecules.

Our work was comprised of conducting research and implementing similarity classification methods tasked with deeming suitable molecule candidates for replacing a reference-molecule.

Our research led us to the use of 2 main filters to achieve our goal, the NLP Model and the Attribute Analysis Model.

Through bi-weekly meetings with our client, we optimized and adapted these filter to further reach our desired result.

We Layed down the foundations and standards for the filtration process, enabling further filters to be easily integrated to the project, as well as supplying

A readily available site for accessibility.

Virtual Filtration is a project made by 4th year Software and Information Systems Engineering BGU students conducted under the close guidance of Dr. Akabayov and Mr. Durbha from the Chemisrty faculty of BGU.

With frequent communication and progression assessments with the client, the project stayed true to requirements and adapted accordingly to client's needs.

throughout the process we acquired a wealth of insightful knowledge and perspective.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the guidance extended to us by all those who provided assistance along the way.
